Richard Lane, the Managing Director, has 27 years experience on virtually every kind of water craft.

Richard’s Qualifications:

  • Master Mariner, Unlimited (Merchant Marine)

  • HND Nautical Science

  • OCIMF Ship Inspector

  • British Waterways Boat Safety Scheme Examiner

  • Lloyds Diploma in Marine Surveying

  • Insured & qualified for sea trials

His experience also includes time spent as Harbour Master, and more recently acting as independent marine consultant for global shipping companies specialising in pre-purchase surveys, risk assessment, safety management & quality assurance.

Richard has an extensive network of clients and contacts within the marine industry.

Member of the Association of Brokers & Yacht Agents and are bound by their code of conduct.
